2016 Week Thirty-Two: Good news and a duck

I GOT A NEW JOB! This is job number, erm… four this year, I think (I temp), but I was particularly excited to get it because it’s been too long since the last one and the sight of my bank balance was starting to make me a little weepy.

Anyway, I’ve done a lot of very long blog posts lately – including yesterday’s diatribe on the news that writers can now make money on Wattpad, which I only didn’t make the Week 32 post because that would have made the post title too long. I deeply regret starting this “2016 Week ____” business. So, for today, here’s a picture of a rubber duck that looks like Shakespeare.

A rubber duck in a Shakespeare costume holding a manuscript that says "to quack or not to quack"

See you next week!

  1. Congratulations on getting the new job. I hope it helps your bank balance to look a lot healthier again. 🙂

You’re way past the half way mark… Only 20 weeks left now. Might as well carry on with the weekly thing for this year. By then it will have served its purpose in making you post more often. That was why you started it, wasn’t it? Then you can start next year with just a resolve to post more often, and no required “week >insert number here<" post. That's my thoughts on the matter, anyway… If you're interested.

Talk to me. If you want. A comfortable silence is cool too.
